Armenian central defender Varazdat Haroyan has been officially transferred to the Chinese football club Qingdao West Coast, according to local media reports.

Having played for a number of clubs throughout Europe and the CIS, Haroyan is also the captain of the Armenian national team.

He made his debut for the national squad on in 2011 in a friendly match against Lithuania.
