Today's Central Election Committee discussed 5 applications of ANC representatives and passed decisions correspondingly. 4 applications were filed by ANC representative Ruben Torosyan.

Ruben Torosyan's statement agued illegal deprivation of the right to vote and obligatory removal from Central Election Committee on Apr. 30.

In reply to statement CEC Chairman Garegin Azaryan specified that during the above-mentioned meeting Ruben Torosyan twice interfered with the course of discussions, and therefore was made to leave the hall after the second meeting.

CEC representative Hamlet Abramyan cited point 5.1 of Article 40.1, RA Electoral Codex, based on which CEC Chairman's actions are considered legal.

At Apr. 30 CEC meeting ANC representative Ruben Torosyan expressed his disagreement over decision passed and repeatedly interfered with the course of discussion. He demanded inclusion of article 111, RA Electoral Codex in the schedule for elections organization.

According to article 111, Council of Elder elections candidates, occupying governmental positions, should be absolved from their responsibilities upon their registration in CEC as electoral candidates, up to official announcement of election results. CEC Head Garegin Azaryan stated the article involves parliamentary elections only and a similar article has already been included in CEC schedule. Upon receiving 2nd warning from CEC Head, Ruben Torosyan was removed from CEC hall.
