Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan and Minister of Culture and Sports of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy discussed the restoration of the historical bridge of Ani – near the medieval capital of Armenia in present-day Turkey, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Culture reports.

The meeting took place on May 17 in Ashgabat on the sidelines of an international conference of ministers of culture.

“In the context of a complete settlement of relations between Armenia and Turkey, among other issues, the ministers emphasized the role of cultural cooperation,” the ministry said in a statement.
