Lukashenko has "very interesting proposal" involving Caucasus

Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko has said he has "a very interesting proposal" involving the Caucasus region, which he discussed "very seriously" during a recent trip to Azerbaijan, media reports from Belarus reveal.

Lukashenko made the remarks at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin who arrived in Belarus on Thursday, May 23 for a two-day visit as part of several foreign tours to kick off his fifth term in office.

Lukashenko’s remarks came one day after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that at least two CSTO member countries participated in preparations for the 44-day war against Armenia, their ally.
