Armenian tax payers will be submitting tax reports online
A package of legislative changes on introduction of electronic system in State Revenue Committee was passed at governmental meeting on Thursday.

According to Committee Chairman Gagik Khatchatryan, the system will allow Armenian tax payers to submit tax reports online, help counter corruption and save taxpayers' time.

RA Government allocated AMD180 million of off- budget means to program development and implementation; part of the funding provided by WB and Asian Bank of Development will also be used for program financing.

Banks, credit organizations, investment companies, RA Central Depository and insurance companies will be the first to use the electronic system.

Second phase of program implementation will involve state organizations and NGOs. For other types of taxpayers the program will be launched in the summer of 2010.
