RA Public Council Committees have appointed their leaders
"The society is estranged from participation in country's policy and decision-making in vital issues for Armenia. To bridge this gap, the Public Council was formed," RA Christian Democratic Party Leader, Public Council representative Khosrov Harutyunyan told a news conference today.

He believes that every official structure has quality experts. Still, the structures would only benefit from opinions of civil society representatives experts.

"Armenian experts have a good potential, which could be taken on a new level with the help of Public Council," Khosrov Harutyunyan stated.

"Improvement of live quality in RA regions and bringing them to the attention of country's political elite is the main task of the council," he noted.

"Public Council Committee involves 1600 people, 93 of which are academicians and PhDs, over 200 are candidates of Sciences. These people are taking their responsibilities seriously and that allows me to hope the council will be working successfully," he emphasized.
