International companies are leaving Georgia
International companies regard processes in Georgia as internal disorders, political confrontation and unfavorable conditions and suspend their business in Georgia, Georgian Economy Minister Lasha Zhvania stated.

"It has to do both with economic crisis and opposition's statement on their intention to block the roads to Azerbaijan, Turkey and Armenia. A transit, an international obligation of Georgia, was interrupted. International companies regard processes in Georgia as internal disorders, political confrontation and unfavorable conditions and suspend their business in Georgia," Georgian Economy Minister said.

According to him, it's important that before making statements Georgian citizens would think of protecting prosperity of their country.

"Internal policy processes could incur bigger threats than those of external policy. People have soft spots where their business is concerned, so they're being careful and suspending their work, which has is making a negative impact on our economy and incomes," Business Georgia cited Zhvania as saying.
