"Authorities have found themselves in their own trap by choosing the course towards criminalizing the pre-election process, which has quickly grown into the conflict between coalition forces," Levon Zurabyan, coordinator of Armenian National Congress told a news conference. "The main goal of the Armenian National Congress is to carry out legitimate elections and prevention of falsifications. According to L.Zurabyan, either General Prosecutor's office, or police are accomplices of falsifications, television is also against the Armenian National Congress, whose selective approach to information is implemented to the detriment of the Armenian National Congress and for the benefit of coalition forces and authorities.

According to Zurabyan, authorities illegally use administrative resources. He blamed Yerevan's mayor Gagik Beglaryan in violation of the Election Code and demanded his dismissal during elections.
