Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan congratulated the graduates of Monte Melkonyan military school.

"Officer is an honorable rank. Most of you will join the army and lead our country along the way of freedom and independence," the Minister said.

He also conferred a medal on graduate Mesrop Mesropyan who saved the life of his fellow during a training. When a fastener cracked on the wall of a building on which evacuation of residents was performed, Mkrtchyan did not succumb to panic and helped his comrade.
