According to the Statistical Committee, a total of 44,848,800 liters of alcoholic beverages were consumed in Armenia from January to December 2024. This includes 6,963,200 liters of wine, 715,900 liters of brandy, 1,993,400 liters of vodka, and 35,176,300 liters of beer.
Compared to a decade ago, alcohol consumption in Armenia was 637,900 liters lower, but during that period, the country’s permanent population was also 77,200 fewer, Factor.am reports.
Over the years, vodka consumption has decreased, while beer consumption has risen.
