Moscow offers Georgia to unblock Upper Lars checkpoint
Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs doesn't mind consultations with Russia on opening Upper Lars checkpoint at the Georgian-Russian border.

On May 25, Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi conveyed Russia's proposal to open the checkpoint which was blocked by Russia two years ago.

"Proceeding from interests of the Georgian and Russian nations, we are ready to consider this issue," said Shota Gvineria, official representative of the Georgia MFA

Earlier, Armenia also requested opening of Upper Lars checkpoint.
