RA Defense Ministry's National Strategy Research Institute held its first session
On June 5, the Council of RA Defense Ministry's National Strategy Research Institute (NSRI) held first session in Yerevan to confer scientific titles on experts working in the sphere of International Relations and Political Institutions and Processes. The session was opened by NSRI Chairman Major-General Hayk Kotandjyan who introduced the institution's plans and programs. In his turn, YSU President Aram Simonyan stressed the importance of convening such session. "We, members of the new council, should do our best to organize the Council's activities on the highest level, relieving us of the burden to revise poorly written research papers," Mr. Simonyan stated. While accepting applications from research students, the Council should first of all work with young scholars and explain to them that defending research work in such format is of paramount importance, YSU President said, adding that the University would closely cooperate with NSRI to help provide solution to such issues. Hayk Kotandjyan noted in his turn that they hadn't yet received any application. The Council's first session was also attended by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.
