ARMENIA TO ASSIST GEORGIA IN RECONSTRUCTING OF ROADS DAMAGED FROM APRIL EARTHQUAKE
Armenia will render assistance to Georgia for the elimination of the consequences of the Tbilisi earthquake. As "BSPress" news agency reports, the transport and communication minister of Georgia has received a letter from Armenian colleagues stating the readiness to provide Georgian railroadmen with a hundred cars of road-metal, fifty cars of lumber, seventy tons of cement, fifty-three tons of hydrate of sodium and three and a half tons of welding material. During June, all the above mentioned construction materials will be passed to Georgian side at the Sadakhlo railway station. The letter addressed to the transport minister states that in the summer 50 Georgian children will be invited to Armenia to spend their summer vacation in "Gugark" and 150 children in "Arzni" resorts.
