Microsoft to launch free antivirus service Morro
Microsoft has announced about its new Morro antivirus service, another soon-to-be-terminated antivirus deal, before it launches at the end of the year for free. The new antivirus product with Morro codename is expected to compete with Symantec and McAfee. Morro is projected to be free, and supposed to protect people against the most common viruses, spy-ware, Trojan horses. Microsoft isn't bundling Morro with Windows.

At the moment the new product is tested by Microsoft's professionals. In the nearest future the trial version of Morro will be placed on the web-site of the company. The annual subscription for Morro's main competitors, products of Symantec and McAfee, is equal to some USD 40.
Very soon computer users will be able to download Morro for free like other Windows Live apps.
