On June 19 Euro Commission Summer Summit launched in Brussels. Among others, Euro Commission President issue was on summit agenda. Euro Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso's candidature was approved for the second term by unanimous vote, Czech Prime Minister Jan Fisher told a news conference upon 1st summit day completion.

Euro Commission President's candidature should be approved by newly elected Europarliament at the sitting of July 15.
