Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan has published updated statistics on exports of fruit, peppers, and flowers on his Facebook page.
"Between June 26 and June 28, Armenia exported 832 tonnes of apricots, 305 tonnes of cherries, 191 tonnes of peppers and 492,000 flowers," the minister wrote.
On June 29, after a meeting of the Civil Contract party board, Papoyan told reporters that the export restrictions imposed by Russia highlighted the need to diversify Armenia's economy. He added that tomato exports continue, while a significant share of the harvest is also being sold on the domestic market.
