
Investigators have filed a motion with the court seeking the pretrial detention of Aregnaz Manukyan, a board member of the Mother Armenia party, Armenia's Investigative Committee said, according to 1lurer.am .
Earlier, authorities reported that Manukyan had been detained as part of the criminal proceedings.
The Investigative Committee said that public criminal prosecution had been initiated against Manukyan under Article 427, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, which concerns the disclosure of information constituting a state secret.
According to the committee, she was detained for the purpose of being brought before the court.
