Obama, Gul had phone conversation on Sunday
Turkish President Abdullah Gul had a phone conversation with his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama on Sunday.

According to the White House, the two leaders discussed U.S.'s relations with Muslim societies in the world, the situation in the Caucasus, Turkish-Armenian relations, the Upper Karabakh problem and Turkish-American relations on the phone.

President Gul thanked Obama for the latter's recent speech delivered in Cairo on U.S.'s ties with the Muslim world, the White House said.
