Cyprus President paid respect to Armenian Genocide victims
During their official visit to Armenia, Cyprus President Demetris Christofias and his spouse Esli Christophe visited Genocide memorial to pay respect to Armenian Genocide victims. Thereafter, Cypriot official and his delegation visited Genocide museum institute.

In a note left in the museum's memory book, Mr. Christofias wrote, "Recognition and condemnation of Armenian Genocide committed in the Ottoman Empire by Young Turks is the obligation of international community and all mankind. Cyprus and Cypriot people have always supported and will continue supporting Armenia's efforts towards achieving international recognition of Genocide."
