NKR experts council calls upon Armenian civil society to support colleagues from Artsakh
NKR experts council and partner organizations disseminated a statement. In a document received by PanARMENIAN.Net representatives of the NKR civil society expressed their willingness to become active participants in a truly peace-building initiatives.
"We consider as inappropriate participation of NKR civil society in the public forums of International Alert in support to formal peace process under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group, since so-called "Madrid principles" have not been publicized so far. The peace process, settlement pattern, introduced by OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are based on those principles.
Representatives of NKR civil society can not support the processes, not contributing to the achievement of fair peace, but rather aimed at destabilizing the situation in the countries of the Karabakh conflict region and between them. We appeal to the leaders of the civil society of Armenia to support the position of Artsakh colleagues," statement says.
