Armenia's economy was prepared for crisis
Armenia has a good anti-crisis program, a Russian scholar said.

"The Armenian government was well prepared. It's the result of responsible macroeconomic policy, small amount of debts and good relationship with international financial structures," Lev Freikman, adviser to the rector of Russian Academy of Agriculture, told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Asked whether the government was a bit late with countermeasures, he said he does not see any problems.

"The mechanism to combat the crisis is simple. Extra budget expenditures, extra demand and increase in transfer flows will help Armenia overcome the crisis," Mr. Freikman said.
