US, French and RF Presidents adopted joint statement on Karabakh
During the G8 summit held in L'Aquila, Italy, OSCE MG Co-Chairing countries' presidents proposed a statement which was adopted this morning, OSCE MG Co-Chairs dealing with NKR conflict settlement told today a news conference in Baku.
"We, the Presidents of OSCE MG Co-Chairing states, reiterate our commitment to the peaceful settlement of NKR conflict and to that end, call on Armenian and Azeri Presidents to smooth all divergences. We recommend our mediators to submit to Armenian and Azeri Presidents the final variant 2007 Madrid Principles containing the Co-Chairs recent proposals."
Armenian and Azerbaijani governments should reach agreement over basic principles by the end of 2007, Russian, American and French Presidents find.
