AMERICAN SANCTIONS AGAINST NUMBER OF ARMENIAN, CHINESE AND MOLDAVIAN PRIVATE COMPANIES NOT APPLY TO COUNTRIES WHERE THEY OPERATE
The Armenian leadership has started an active dialog with the USA in order to clear up the details of the situation regarding George Bush's administration intention to impose sanctions against several Armenian companies and organizations suspected of delivery of equipment and passing of technology that might be used for the creation of muss destruction weapon to Iran. "De-Facto" agency reports this with reference to the Armenian MFA press service. As it was reported before, Washington intended to impose sanctions against a number of Moldavia and China's companies. It should be noted, the sanctions can be applied against concrete companies and organizations and do not apply the governments of the mentioned countries. According to US State Department official representative Richard Bowcher, the sanctions are imposed for two years, during which any state or private company as well as natural people must not have any business operations with the organizations against which the sanction are applied. Bush's administration has already officially informed the US Congress on the imposition of the sanctions that will be valid in "few days" after they are published in the US federal register.
