Rescuers are trying to get burnt bodies of people on board out of plane
The Caspian Airlines Tupolev with 153 passengers and 15 crews on board crashed near Iran's Qazvin province on Wednesday before noon.
The plane was heading from Tehran to Capital of Armenia, Yerevan, Wednesday morning when it crashed near two villages in a nonresidential area 16 minutes after it took off from Imam Khomeini international airport near Qom, said spokesman for Iran's Civil Aviation Organization, Reza Jafarzadeh.
He also said yet there is no precise information about the passengers of the plane.
A delegation has been sent to the scene soon after the event was reported but the reason for the crash and how it happened is not known yet, he added.
The plane has been flying over a district near Qazvin in order to find a farm to land when it hit the ground.
A whole with 5 to 6 meters depth has been created by the plane crash. The fire has been put off and the rescuers are trying to get the burnt bodies of the people on board out of the plane.
All members, head coach and coach of Iran's national cadet judo team have died in the accident. The team was heading Armenia to attend a preparation camp, ISNA Iranian Agency reported.
