German film screened during Golden Apricot festival
The sixth day of Golden Apricot festival began with the official opening of German films. Visitors had the chance to watch "Jerichow" a film by Christian Petzold.

The film features the story of two men and a woman involved in a love triangle. Its heroes - discharged serviceman Thomas, distrustful entrepreneur Ali and charming Lora - thirst for love, but the burden of the bitter past prevents them from trusting one another.

Another cinema house in Yerevan - Nairi - hosted the presentation of "Gemrany 09", a film containing 13 short episodes featuring the problems of German society.

On July 14 and 15, visitors had the chance to watch "Murder File: Hrant Dink" (Osman Odjan) and "Bliss" (Beatitude). The former film depicts the moral psychological situation leading to the assassination of Agos daily's Editor-in-Chief Hrant Dink (2007) while the latter is a romantic drama by Andreas Drezen featuring the sufferings of an elderly married woman.
