Russia, U.S. to appoint new OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs
Russia and the United States will appoint new Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group dealing with the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
The designates are not made public yet, said Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov, the current OSCE MG Co-Chair from Russia.
The regular meeting in Krakow late July is supposed go be the last held by the current Co-chairs.
Matthew Bryza has been mediating in the OSCE MG since 2006. Yuri Merzlyakov assumed the post in 2003.
France has not announced intention to change its mediator yet.
