Batumi-Yerevan train hit high-voltage electric pole
On July 29 at approximately 00:05 a.m., after torrential rain in the second kilometer of Spitak-Gyumri highway rock fragments fell down on a nearby high-tension electric pole, and the latter fell on the railway. At 02:35 am.m Batumi-Yerevan electric train ran into this pole, RA ministry of emergency situations of Armenia reports. The wagons were taken to the "Gyumri station. After the emergency and recovery operations train traffic was restored at about 08:00 a.m. There are no victims and injured persons.
