Alexander Sotnichenko: Caucasus - a delicate matter
Turkey supports Armenian-Turkish ties normalization process, Alexander Sotnichenko, leading analyst of St. Petersburg Center for Middle East Studies, told a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent.

"To the best of my knowledge, Armenians are allowed to visit Turkey despite the close border,"
Russian expert said, noting in the meantime that the railroad connecting Armenia and Turkey will soon be set to operation, playing an essential role in Armenia's economy.

"I hope Russia will be able to act as mediator in Armenian-Turkish ties normalization process," Sotnichenko said, adding that Caucasus is a "delicate matter" requiring a relevant approach.
