Tigran Garamyan plays successfully in Zurich International Chess Tournament after Alois Nagler
Armenian grand master Tigran Garamyan who represents France in Alois Nagler international chess tournament dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Zutich's chess organization, obtained 5.5 out of possible 7 points, thus falling behind Boris Avrukh (Israel) by 0.5 points.

Among tournament participants there are strong players such as Alexander Marozevich, Alexander Dreev (Russia), Emil Sutovsky (Israel) and others.

Tournament is organized in Swiss system - it consists of 9 rounds, with a total number of 272 participants.

During the 8th round, Garamyan will compete against Alexander Marozevich.
