Russia never allow Georgia to find feet, until the latter not abandon pro-West orientation
"The deterioration of Russian-Georgian relations will not affect the development of relations between Armenia and Georgia", Haykazun Alvrtsyan , Director of the "Center for Study of problems of Western Armenians" research fund told press conference in Yerevan today.

"The Armenian-Georgian relations will develop to the level the authorities of the countries counld provide", Haykazun Alvrtsyan said. According to him, despite the willingness of the countries to improve relations, there is a line when the parties are unable to make concessions due to security reasons. "Russia will never allow Georgia to find feet, until the latter does not abandon pro-West orientation," Haykazun Alvrtsyan said, noting that by leaving the CIS Georgia seeks to break all ties with Russia.

Mr. Alvrtsyan also did not rule out the possibility of a recurrence of the Russian-Georgian war. "Last year's August events showed that war is always possible, and that war can solve some issues like Russia did," the armenologist said.
