In Abu Dhabi Open chess tournament three Armenian Grandmasters lead
Grant Melkumyan, who won against the Indian chess player Nirmal in the 6 round, joined the leaders of the open tournament of the 18th international chess festival in Abu Dhabi Ashot Anastasyan and Zaven Andreasyan.

Anastasyan and Andreasyan, in turn, made peace with Lahman (India) and Bassem Amin (Egypt), respectively, and by scoring 5 points, along with Melkumyan remain in the list of 11 leading players.

Grandmaster Lilith Galoyan in the 6th round played successfully, defeating chess player from UAE Ali Abdoulkarim. Another Armenian grandmaster Hrair Simonyan made peace with the Indian chess player. Simonyan after 6 rounds with 4.5 points shares the 10-20th positions of the table. Galoyan with 4 points shares the 21-38 positions.
