Crime level grow almost twice in Armenia
Recorded crime level increased almost twice in the country compared to the last year: 6.849 crimes over 2009, Alik Sargsyan, RA Head of Police said a press conference today.

According to Alik Sargsyan explained the sharp rise partially by the fact that 10 per cent increase of detection of crime has been recorded in the country. As another reason for this increase, he named the worsened situation in the social sphere. "Crime is a social phenomenon, and the increase in crime has social roots," Alik Sargsyan said.
