US Embassy in Yerevan opens Condolence Books for Kennedy
On August 31, US Embassy in Armenia will set up condolence book for Senator Edward Kennedy. Anyone wishing to express condolence may visit Embassy Monday, August 31, from 10:00-17:00.
Senator Edward Kennedy, last of 3 Kennedy brothers, passed away on August 26, at age 77. Edward Kennedy was US Senator since 1962. He was Chair of Senate Committee on Health and Education.
Edward's eldest brother - US President John Kennedy - was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Middle brother - Senator and Justice Secretary Robert Kennedy - was murdered in 1968 during presidential campaign.
