Yerevan hosts conference of Association of Electoral Authorities of Europe
18th annual conference of Association electoral authorities of Europe opened in Yerevan, dedicated to "Courting the right to vote". The conference involved over 150 representatives from 28 countries and various international organizations, in particular, chapters of the constitutional courts and CEC chairmen.
RA Central Electoral Commission, the Association of Electoral Authorities of Europe with the support of OSCE Office in Yerevan and the Armenian branch of the International Foundation for Election Systems are organizers of the conference.
Association of Electoral Authorities of Europe has been founded in 1991. The seat of the permanent secretariat is located in Budapest (Hungary). The CEC chairman of the country hosting the annual conference chairs the association every year.
