Financial ombudsman's office receives complaints about banks
Majority of complaints received by the office of Armenia's financial ombudsman refer to banks' loan interest rate.

"It's not because the banks work improperly but because the financial field of the republic is mostly occupied by the banking system," financial ombudsman Piruz Sargsyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

"Problems emerge with interest rate calculation. Citizens are also displeased with deposits and ATMs," she said. "Complaints about lending agencies and pawnshop are also received."
