Elmar Gasymov: I would like to visit Armenia again
Azeri judoist Elmar Gasymov who won the champion's title at 2009 Junior Judo Championships in Yerevan said that despite the conflict between the neighbor countries, the Azeri delegation felt safe and he would like to visit Armenia again.
''I did not communicate with Armenian sportsmen but I must say that Armenians are very hospitable. It was not easy to arrive here. A large number of contracts were signed. But I believe once the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is resolved we will visit Armenia again,'' he said.
The Azeri judoist said he is happy because the gold medal he won in Yerevan is his first international success.
''My next target is the championship in France,'' Gasymov said.
