Gabriel Sargsyan scores first victory at Inventichess 2009
Armenian grandmaster Gabriel Sargsyan scored his first victory over Bulgaria's Antoaneta Stefanova in the fourth round of Inventichess 2009 going on in Antwerp, Belgium.
In the first round, Sargsyan suffered a defeat from France's Etienne Bacrot. In the second and third rounds, he made a draw with Emil Sutovsky (Israel) and Bartosz Socko (Poland) respectively.
In the fifth round, Sargsyan will play vs. David Howell (United Kingdom).
