US CONGRESSMEN DISCUSSED FINANCIAL AID TO KARABAKH
US congressional commission for foreign economic operations has heard the question of the lot of the funds, which should have been given to Nagorno Karabakh as foreign aid. In the course of the session, co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Joe Knollenberg (R-MI) called upon the leadership of the US Agency for International Development to implement the legislators' decision and to give Karabakh the rest of the aid approved by them. Let us remind that Stepanakert received only $15,8 million out of the $20 million approved by the Congress. The USAID representatives pledged to ascertain the situation and report to the legislators.
