Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met in Tehran Wednesday with Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Parliament Chairman Ayad al- Samarai and representatives of Armenian Diaspora.

In a meeting with the Iranian President, the Armenian Speaker discussed implementation of joint agreements, specifically establishment of railway communication between the two countries.

Regional security issues were also in focus, RA NA press office reported.
