ArmenTel opens first distance learning class in Armenia
On October 2, ArmenTel CJSC (brand name: Beeline) opened Armenia's first distance learning class in school No. 55. "Some 10 year ago, it was impossible to imagine anything of the kind. Technology has now made considerable advances, making fantasies reality. That's a new, 21st century school; that's a school of future. The new interactive class is the boldest technological solution, and ArmenTel is happy to champion innovations in Armenian schools," ArmenTel CJSC's General Director Igor Klimko said during the opening ceremony.

He stressed that distance learning class was created within the frameworks of the company's strategy aimed at assisting in educational, children's and youth projects implemented under the slogan "Bright Future with Beeline".

Distance learning system was introduced in school No. 55 in partnership with Alfa company. "The system operates on the bases of Polycom QDX6000 video-conference and relevant software. The school has a total number if 16 equipped rooms which can get connected not only with each other but also with remote users," Alfa Company's Commercial Department Head Arthur Garibyan said.
