The South Caucasus region need good neighborly relations, Roman Balayan , famous film director, People's Artist of Ukraine, academician of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine said.

According to him, the Armenia-Turkey dialogue is a positive step in a long-term stagnation, and have a positive impact not only on the economic development of the two countries. 

"Opponents of signing the protocols are not even aware that most Turks do not know the truth about the Armenian Genocide. Establishment of dialogue is extremely positive step, opening a new chapter in the history of two peoples, " the director said, Analitika.at.ua reports.
