Roaming tariffs in CIS 3-6 times higher than in Europe
CIS antimonopoly structures have two major objectives - exchange of legislative experience and conduction of joint researches of various markets, Head of Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) Igor Artemyev said.

He described the activity of RA State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition as exemplary and said that a complementary legislation should be developed for all CIS member countries.

Mr. Artemyev also informed that research centers were established to examine the situation in air transportation and telecommunications markets. At that he remarked that roaming tariffs in CIS are 3-6 times higher than in Europe

Working groups will also be formed to examine the grain, energy, food, medicine and rail transportation market.
