Armenia and Turkey have much to do before Protocol ratification
Signing of Protocols on normalization of Armenian-Turkish ties is a turning point in Yerevan-Ankara intercourse, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told a Yerevan-Ankara-Moscow TV bridge.
"Signing of those documents is not the end; it's just the beginning. They are still to be ratified by Armenian and Turkish parliaments. This is the stage when all pitfalls may come out," he said, adding that ratification will be followed by implementation of "road map".
"There are zero chances for realizing the process. There is certain hope, but parties have much to do before opening border," Iskandaryan said.
Touching on the changing dynamics, the expert expressed conviction that "any unreasonable step by both countries' politicians may affect large masses of population."
