Junior championship in swimming start October 24 in Gyumri, Armenia
10 teams will take part in Armenia's Junior Championship in swimming October 24-25 in Gyumri. According to Igor Safaryan, President of the Swimming Federation, 8 teams will participate in the championship from Yerevan, one - from Gyumri and Vanadzor each.
"The championship will bring together 100 to 120 young people under 18 and girls under 16," Igor Safaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
Athletes, showed best results during the championship will be included in the Armenian national team to take part in the European Championship 2010.
Armenia was represented by Sergei Pevnev at the European Junior Championship 2009 in Prague. He won 81th place out of 160 participants.
