RA authorities use protocols as tool to distract public attention from domestic problems
The post-election crisis is not overcome yet, according to Vladimir Karapetyan, the person in charge for foreign policy of the Armenian National Congress.

"Economic slump is Armenia is unprecedented for entire Eurasia. Reforms are not carried out. This year our authorities borrowed so much money as no government dared during the past 17 years,' he told a news conference on Oct. 22.

"17 political prisoners have not been released yet. The opinion of the Armenian society is neglected," he said.

Karapetyan emphasized that the authorities use Armenia-Turkey protocols as tool to distract public attention from domestic problems, specifically the trial of Haykakan Zhamanak editor Nikol Pashinyan.

He also criticized the work of the RA Ombudsman's office.
