Europe judo champion Artyom Baghdasaryan (weight category under 73 kg) was beaten in the very first combat of World Youth Championship due in Paris. Armenian wrestler, defeated by representative of France, dropped out of competition.

Thus, 3 out of 4 Armenian wrestlers completed their performance at the Championship. Armenia's last representative Mher Yeghiazaryan (weight category under 81 kg) will perform on October 24 at World Judo Youth Championship.
