Armenian chess team suffers its first defeat in European Team Championship
In the 3rd round of 17 European Team Championship taking place in Novi Sad, Serbia, Armenian chess team suffered its first defeat, falling behind Serbians by score 1.5:2.5.

The only winner of Armenia's team was Levon Aronyan. Gabriel Sargsyan and Arman Pashikyan were beaten by their rivals, while Tigran Petrosyan ended the match in a draw.

After three rounds, Armenian team earned 4 points, appearing on the 12th position of tournament table.

In the fourth round, Armenian chess players will compete against the Serbian team.
