Armenian, Turkish historians and archeologists to meet in Kars?
Armenian and Turkish historians and archeologists will meet in Kars in the near future to discuss issues referring to reconstruction of Ani, the medieval capital of Armenia. According to Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay, preparation for formation of a joint commission, which will decide on reconstruction of Ani, is underway.

"Details are being discussed and you will see how the structure functions soon. Joint cultural projects with participation of Armenian and Turkish singers and musicians will be launched. Many of well-known Turkish singers have Armenian roots and we are hopeful we will find positivism in our relations," he said, Patronlar Dunyasi reported.
