Tomorrow the mine-clearing center built and equipped due to Pentagon means will be opened in Armenian Echmiadzin City. «Arminfo» agency reports referring to US Embassy in Armenia that the US defense department spent over $1 million on creation of the center. Acquisition of materiel for the Armenian sappers is planned besides building and the integration of the center. A group of experts has arrived from the United States to train them. The center plans to turn out first crew of Armenian sappers before the end of 2002.
