Kamsarakan accuses Armenia's FM of undermining national security
Committee member of Armenia's Public Council for Defense and National Security, Director of the Armenian Center for Basic Sciences Simon Kamsarakan requested from the Prosecutor General of the country to initiate criminal proceedings against the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, since the latter violates the Constitution and made a number of official crimes that threaten national security, defense and safety of the country, Simon Kamsarakan told a press conference in Yerevan today.

According to him, the Armenian Foreign Minister must answer a number of questions: who and where were initialed the Armenian-Turkish Protocols, who designed the so-called press release on behalf of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Turkey and Switzerland, and why they lack the signatures of the parties? Did the President of Armenia have on August 30, 2009 the texts of press release and initialed protocols in three languages, why are the signed protocols not presented to the society, as well as a number of other issues?

"In the Armenian version the content of the initialed protocols does not match that of the signed," Mr. Kamsarakan said. He filed a lawsuit against Edward Nalbandian, because the latter is the protagonist of this process, and he accordingly is responsible for everything. "The Armenian-Turkish Protocols are a gamble of foreign ministers of Armenia, Turkey and Switzerland," Simon Kamsarakan said, adding that these protocols do not match the language of the law.
